ورلڈکپ فائنل : کمار دھرما سینا نے انگلینڈ کو اضافی رن دینے کی غلطی تسلیم کر لی

انگلینڈ اور نیوزی لینڈ کے درمیان کرکٹ ورلڈکپ 2019 کے فائنل میں امپائرنگ کے فرائض انجام دینے والے سری لنکن امپائر کمار دھرما سینا نے انگلینڈ کو ایک اضافی رن دینے کی غلطی تسلیم کر لی۔ عالمی میلے کو ختم ہوئے ایک ہفتہ گزر چکا ہے جبکہ اس کے فائنل کے سنسنی خیز لمحات میں ہونے والے امپائر کے ایک فیصلے کو شدید تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا جارہا ہے۔ جہاں انگلینڈ کو نیوزی لینڈ کے خلاف فتح کے لیے آخری اوور میں 15 رنز درکار تھے وہاں کیوی فیلڈر مارٹن گپٹل کی تھرو انگلش بیٹسمین بین اسٹوکس سے ٹکرا کر باؤنڈری لائن پار کر گئی تھی جس کی صورت میں امپائر نے بیٹنگ ٹیم کو 6 رنز دے دیے۔

مذکورہ رنز کو انگلینڈ کے چیمپیئن بننے کے لیے اہم ترین رنز اور میچ کا ٹرننگ پوائنٹ قرار دیا جارہا ہے۔ کرکٹ ماہرین سمیت سابق انٹرنیشنل امپائر سائمن ٹوفل نے بھی اس فیصلے پر سوالیہ نشان اٹھاتے ہوئے کہا تھا کہ امپائر کمار دھرماسینا نے بیٹنگ ٹیم کو رنز دینے میں غلطی کی اور ممکنہ طور پر انہیں ایک رن زیادہ دیا گیا۔ فرانسیسی خبر رساں ادارے اے ایف پی کے مطابق کمار دھرماسینا نے سنڈے ٹائمز سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کے پاس ٹیلی ویژن ری پلے کی سہولت نہیں تھی جہاں وہ دیکھ سکتے کہ کیا بیٹسمین نے رن لیتے ہوئے ایک دوسرے کو کراس کیا یا نہیں؟ انہوں نے اعتراف کیا کہ میں مانتا ہوں کہ میرے فیصلے میں غلطی ہوئی جس کا احساس ٹی وی ری پلے دیکھنے کے بعد ہوا۔

امپائر کے لیے مہیا کردہ سہولیات کو مد نظر رکھتے ہوئے کمار دھرماسینا نے کہا کہ مجھے اپنے فیصلے پر پشیمانی نہیں ہے۔ کمار دھرماسینا نے کہا کہ انہوں نے دوسرے میچ آفیشل سے گفتگو کرنے کے بعد ہی 6 رنز دینے کا اشارہ کیا تھا لیکن اس دوران امپائرز کی گفتگو کو تمام میچ آفیشلز نے بھی سنا تھا جن میں میچ ریفری بھی شامل تھے۔ سری لنکن امپائر نے کہا کہ ‘تمام آفیشلز نے تصدیق کی کہ بیٹسمین نے دوسرا رن مکمل کر لیا تھا جس کے بعد میں نے اپنا فیصلہ لیا۔’ خیال رہے کہ فائنل میں نیوزی لینڈ نے پہلے بیٹنگ کرتے ہوئے انگلینڈ کو جیت کے لیے 242 رنز کا ہدف دیا لیکن انگلینڈ کی ٹیم بھی کیویز کی طرح 241 رنز بنا کر آل آؤٹ ہو گئی تھی۔ میچ سپر اوور تک گیا اور حیرت انگیز طور پر یہ بھی برابر ہو گیا جس کے بعد انگلینڈ کو میچ میں زیادہ باؤنڈریز لگانے پر چیمپیئن قرار دیا گیا تھا۔

Hashim Amla is a cricketer who represents the South Africa national cricket team and is the captain of the national Test side.  He has scored centuries (100 or more runs in a single innings) in Test and One Day International (ODI) matches on 23 and 21 occasions respectively.  As of 19 August 2015, he has played 84 Tests and 118 ODIs for South Africa, scoring 6,770 and 5,743 runs respectively. Former England captain Geoffrey Boycott once said about him that “he bats in a way that gives very little hope for the bowlers” and “he plays the same way at the start of his innings as he does at the end of it”. 

Amla made his Test debut against India at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, in 2004.  His first century came two years later against New Zealand at the Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town.  His score of 311 not out, against England at The Oval, London, in 2012, is the only triple century by a South African batsman in Test cricket.  Amla has scored Test centuries at fifteen cricket grounds, including ten at venues outside South Africa.  He has scored his twenty-three Test centuries against eight different opponents; he is most successful against Australia and India, making five each. As of 2015, Amla is third in the list of Test century-makers for South Africa. 

Amla made his ODI debut in 2008 against Bangladesh at the Chittagong Divisional Stadium, Chittagong.  His first century came in the same year against the same team at the Willowmoore Park, Benoni.  His highest ODI score is 159 against Ireland at the Manuka Oval, Canberra in 2015. Amla is the fastest batsman to reach 2,000, 3,000, 4,000 and 5,000 runs in ODIs, taking 40, 57, 81 and 101 innings respectively to do so.  He has played 15 Twenty20 International (T20I) matches, without scoring a century,  his highest score being 47 not out.  As of 2015, Amla is eighth in the list of century-makers in international cricket, all formats of the game combined.
